The Venetian Water Festival moves to the Arsenal in an inimitable open-air theatre to celebrate the Venice Carnival 2022 with an extraordinary spectacle on water, an element with which the City has created its most intimate bond.
Opera Fiammae and Viorica give life to a memorable evening of water and fire games amidst the splendid scenery of the Basins of the Venice Arsenal.
A visionary artistic collaboration of live performance and technology, which gives life to a parade with a strong visual impact on the water space of the basins of the Arsenal: a dreamlike narration with the elements of air, earth, water, and fire creates imaginative visions of submerged worlds and future civilisations.

Performances on Friday 18th, Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th of February, and then from Thursday 24th of February to Tuesday 1st of March. Two daily replicas: 6.45pm and 9.15pm
TICKETING
Tickets (both free and paying tickets) can be bought online or by showing an ID card at Venezia Unica Sales Points of Piazzale Roma, Tronchetto, Mestre Piazzale Cialdini, Correr Piazza San Marco, Dolo and Sottomarina.
Tickets are strictly personal, not transferable, not refundable and not modifiable.
Tickets can be printed or presented digitally.

Viewers will be able to choose wether to watch the performance standing or seated, as follows:
Standing places are located along Arsenale’s quay and they are not numbered: choose the sector, defined by letter and color. Inside each sector respecting social distancing will be mandatory. Some of these sectors are reserved to residents in the Municipality of Venice, those tickets are named “gratuità”, please check the availability variations.
Seated places are located on the docks and they are numbered: choose the sector and select a seat. These sectors, numbered 1 to 6, are reserved for paying tickets holders.
PRICES
Standing non-numbered places
- 15€ full price
- 10€ reduced below 18 years old (children from 6 to 17 years old)
- 40€ family: 2 adults e 2 under 18
- Free for residents in the Municipality of Venice (subject to availability)
- Free for children under 6 (by showing an accompanying adult ticket)
Seated numbered places
- 25€ full price
- 15€ reduced under 18 years old (children and kids from 0 to 17 years old)
- 65€ family: 2 adults e 2 under 18
The ticket will grant access to the performance in Arsenale only. Transportation not included.
The organizers will verify the possession of the requirements for reduced and free tickets.
EU digital covid certificate (Green Pass Rafforzato) is mandatory. Temperature will be measured and safety checks might be issued.
In compliance with local and national safety measures for the pandemic containment in spaces of public performances, the food court and bar will not be open.

- from S. Marco-S. Zaccaria “A” to Torre di Porta NuovaArsenale: services from 5:10 pm to 6:00 pm (for the 6:45 pm show) and from 7:40 pm to 8:30 pm (for the 9:15 pm show);
- from Torre di Porta NuovaArsenale to S. Marco-S. Zaccaria: services at the end of each show.
Permission to board is granted only to show tickets holders and the following Actv tickets: € 5.00 return journey tickets valid exclusively for route CA, time-limited travelcards (1, 2, 3, 7 days); Rete Unica season passes, Rete Unica tickets or ticket booklets – for waterborne service – enabled Venezia Unica cards.
Mandatory EU digital covid certificate and FFP2 masks on board.
